Disney World is starting its annual toy collection drive again with Toys for Tots. The focus of the
drive rests on teddy bears. Disney volunteers have already constructed these adorable animals
into the Cuddliest Christmas Tree. The tree stands 20 feet high and 10 feet wide. It took over
1,200 Duffy bears to create the tree. Each of these teddy bears will be donated to the Central
Florida Toys for Tots.
Marines have been lending a special hand as well. They are on a special mission to deliver
teddy bears to the Epcot Center as shown on the current park website. Each bear these
marines and any other Disney volunteers donate will be given to children who need a bright
Christmas but would otherwise go without.
Disney World Resort cast members will collect any donated toys for the Central Florida Toys
for Tots until December 10. It is reported that there are more families in need this year than
ever before, and any donations will make a huge impact on the organization. Only one toy could
change a child’s Christmas.
This collaboration between Disney World and Toys for Tots has remained strong for over 60
year. They have provided millions of happy Christmas holidays for children. The Christmas
festivities at Disney are one of a kind. Take a family vacation to see the amazing decorations
and make your donation. Disney World tickets are available in a wide range of locations, many
for discounted prices. The money you save on tickets could be spent on gifts for other children!
