If you like sports, then you’d love to be at Walt Disney World’s ESPN the Weekend. This year it’s slated to take place March 4th through 6th, and will feature marquee stars from the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NCAA, in addition to well-known ESPN television personalities.
This year’s lineup consists of more than thirty five different atheletes and ESPN stars who are eager to interact with fans and make the 2011 ESPN the Weekend a great commercial success. This year’s group includes ormer University of Florida football coach and current ESPN college football analyst Urban Meyer, Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco, N.Y. Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson, Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald, NBA Hall of Famer Julius “Dr. J” Erving and MLB Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr., plus former NFL star Derrick Brooks, ex-NBA great Alonzo Mourning and current Orlando Magic players.
The popular Mike Golic and Mike Greenburg from the “Mike & Mike in the Morning” show will return as co-hosts for the event, and their expertise at running the show will surely make it an event to remember.
In addition to the popular sports and television personalities, mascots from many teams will be joining in the fray as well. Expect to seethe Phille Phanatic from the Philadelphia Phillies, Albert E. Gator frm the University of Florida, the Penn State Nittany Lion, the Oregon Duck, Homer the Brave from the Atlanta Braves, Captain Fear the Buccaneer from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Sebastian the Ibis from the University of Miami.
