It’s no big surprise that Easter is one of the busiest times at Walt Disney World. It’s a country-wide holiday, which means that both kids and their adults will get time off from their regularly scheduled activities, and who wouldn’t want to spend a wonderful holiday with their family, cushioned in the magic of Disney?
However, the problem with going to Walt Disney World during the Easter holidays is that it is such a good idea – such a good idea that everybody else is doing it also. To this end, Walt Disney World is offering some ways to make the crowded holiday times easier and more fun for everybody – for guests and the staff alike!
The first big Easter event will be the Bunny meet and greet that will occur on the Saturday before Easter – just so Mr. and Mrs. Bunny can get some rest and relaxation in before the big night! The bunnies will greet guests at Tour Guide Gardens, next to City Hall at Magic Kingdom.
In addition, guests can attend religious services at the park on April 24th – there will be both Catholic masses and Protestant services. They will be held at the Contemporary hotel – due to the amount of parking needed for the hotel, guests who are staying elsewhere will have to take public transportation to attend the services.
In addition, Disney is offering a 25 percent discount on food before 11:30am, just to help manage crowds at its quick-service restaurants. The coupons are available either in the Times Guide, the back of merchandise receipts, and online.
