A trip to Walt Disney World is an event that everybody should experience once in his or her lifetime, no matter how old or young their inner child happens to be. Everybody has been touched by Disney magic somehow, and whether you’re five or fifty you’ll find something to thrill and delight you within the bounds of Walt Disney World. What you might find less endearing, however, is the cost of planning such a trip.
Doing Disney on a budget isn’t just about what hotels you pick or whether it’s a better idea to stay in the park or outside of it. A lot of it has to do with timing. Obviously, there are peak seasons for the world of Disney, and if you want to hit Disney World during the summer when the kids are out of school and the weather is hot, you’re likely to encounter higher ticket prices and larger crowds. Other times when the park is popular include major holidays – a good place to look for guidance is a school schedule. If the kids are out of school, it’s probably going to be more expensive to visit the Mouse!
Another thing to keep in mind is the length of time that you decide to spend at Walt Disney World. Most ticket experts recommend that you shoot for five days at the most magical place on earth – this seems to be the magic number for the package deals that can save you hundreds of dollars. Consider purchasing transportation, admittance tickets, and accommodation together. You’re likely to enjoy a cut in price, and you might even get vouchers or coupons for special events or food. Every little bit helps in the Land of Mickey, and a little bit of research can go a long way when it comes to saving you cash!
