It’s no secret that some of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World are the character meals. For those who are not in the know, character meals are where visitors to the park pay money in order to enjoy a meal with a selected cast of characters. For example, the most popular character meal in the entirety of Walt Disney World is known as Cinderella’s Royal Table. If you want to be a part of this most sought after character meal, however, you will need to sign up at least 180 days in advance because it is so popular.
In addition to the difficulty involved with signing up for a character meal, is no secret that they are also quite expensive to attain. Some of the most popular character meals can cost over $100 per person to visit. If you would like to enjoy interaction with characters but not spend all of the money involved with the traditional character meal, we have some advice for you!
Not many people know about the campsite known as Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World. Here, there is a nightly free campfire roast with Chip n’ Dale. Visitors can enjoy spending time with the characters, eat plenty of marshmallows, and then enjoy character interaction and a free Disney movie after the campfire is over. This character interaction is extraordinarily cheap—the only cost involved is a nominal fee for marshmallows.
If you are coming to Walt Disney World on a budget, be sure to consider alternative ways to get excellent character interaction without having to pay the sort of prices that many of the character meals command. Even better, you won’t have to sign up in advance for this at all!
