When you plan your Disney vacation you know there are a number of resort options to choose from. If you are looking to stay in the Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation than you get to spend time browsing the various resort options. Different resorts have different themes so in some cases it may come down to personal taste.
However, if you are looking to save some money on your rooms but still want to stay in the Resort, than consider one of Disney’s Value Resorts. Disney has several value resorts and one of the value resorts is Disney’s Pop Century Resort located in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Area. Disney’s Pop Century Resort is themed and decorated like all of Disney’s resorts however, Disney’s Pop Century Resort is decorated to celebrate the fads and cultural icons of the decades from the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.
The resort is formed by 10 different decorated buildings all of which are brightly colored. The central building of the resort is called Classic Hall and this is where you can find the main lobby, concierge desk, as well as a shop and food court. Food available at the food court includes pastas, salads, and other lighter food options. Also located in Classic Hall is the Fast Forward Arcade.
Disney’s Pop Century Resort also features three different pools; the flower shaped Hippy Dippy Pool, pin-shaped Bowling Pool, and the monitor shaped Computer Pool. Besides access to pools, the resort also has laundry service, babysitting service, pizza delivery, and transportation to the resort and airport. There are also cribs available. And for those who love television, there is cable and satellite service.
