As you plan for your upcoming Disney vacation, you may find your family torn in two different directions. While your kids want to be in the fun, new areas like the Art of Animation, you and your spouse would much prefer enjoying your vacation from the vantage point of the Grand Floridian. Perhaps your budget will make the decision for you, but if not, then you could be asking yourself, “Are those Deluxe Resorts really worth the price anyways?”
There’s no simple answer to this question. Depending upon your tastes and preferences, maybe they are… maybe they aren’t. However, here are a few points of information you might like to know about those deluxe resorts:
- Balconies and Space. If you’ve been to Disney World before, then you know the place is huge. However, you’ve also probably learned that your private space is not so grand. Your accommodations might remind you of a dorm room more than anything else. This certainly isn’t the case when you stay at a Deluxe Resort. Enjoy your own private balcony and plenty of room for the kids to burn off all that extra energy they won’t have at the end of the day.
- Queen Size Beds. Speaking of size, you won’t have to sleep in anything smaller than a Queen when you’re at Disney Deluxe Resort. King-sized beds are also available if you don’t mind paying a little bit more.
- Great Location. Value resort hotels at Disney World offer… well, value. Therefore, they aren’t going to be terribly close to most of the things that you want to do on vacation. Deluxe Resorts like the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and others have great location. Attractions and parks are within walking distance or easily accessible by the monorail.
