Some people may think that Disney is only for children and that the rides offer little for the adventure seeker. But visitors will be surprised to see that Disney has more to offer than flying Dumbo and It’s a Small World. Park-goers looking for a thrill should check out Disney’s Hollywood Studios where they will find rides that will literally make their stomachs drop. The iconic Tower of Terror can be seen for miles and the screams can be heard throughout the park as guests willingly board an elevator to the top only to drop once they get there. Thrill seekers will find that this is not a ride for the faint of heart as they walk through the haunted hotel and listen to the screams of the riders before them. The Tower of Terror remains one of Disney’s biggest thrill rides in all of its parks.
If that doesn’t excite you, than perhaps a little Aerosmith can, on the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster also located at Hollywood Studios. Here guests will get to experience an indoor roller coaster to the music of Aerosmith as they fly zero to sixty-in-one second in a stretched limousine. Made up of loops and corkscrews, the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is far from your boring ride.
If speed is what you are looking for, then hop on over to EPCOT to experience life as a crash dummy in the famous ride, Test Track. Here guests will buckle up and see what it is like to fly around a race track at sixty miles per hour while hoping that the car can hold up to all crash tests. Also in EPCOT, visitors can check out Mission Space, which simulates the experience of being launched into space in shuttle. But be warned, this ride is not for those who get sick easily and should be left up to only the bravest of thrill seekers.
